What Is an As Constructed Survey?

As constructed surveys, also known as ASCON surveys, are conducted after a construction project is finished to ensure that all work has been completed to the specified designs and standards. These surveys are crucial for verifying that the newly constructed features are in the correct locations and built as per the design. They serve as a definitive record for handover purposes as well as future modifications, maintenance, and management of the property.
